Game Day - Tampa Bay vs Washington

Remember that the game today is at 4pm. It was originally scheduled for 1pm, so if you’re looking at an old schedule please be advised and adjust your drinking schedule.

Announcers: Joe Buck and Troy Aikman with Pam Oliver on the sidelines.

Key Battles:

Chris Samuels vs. Simeon Rice

These two have waged a few battles over their careers. They’ve split their last two decisions. In their latest match-up in 2004 Samuels got the edge holding Rice without a sack. But in 2003 Rice dominated with 4 sacks and a forced fumbles. If Rice is in Brunell’s face all game long the Redskins could struggle.
Edge: Tampa

Santana Moss vs. Brian Kelly/Ronde Barber

Tampa Bay doesn’t shadow top receivers with a certain corner so both Kelly and Barber will see Moss today. The Buccaneers have been susceptible to the long pass, and Moss is one of top deep threats in the game today. I foresee Moss getting a big play or two this week.
Edge: Washington

The Line: As I guessed earlier in the week, the line has moved and the Redskins are now favored by a point.

Expected Weather: Variable cloud, high of 80 (27 Celsius) low of 60 (16). 0% chance of rain.

Field: Raymond James Stadium, Grass Field, Capacity of 65,657. Game is a sell-out.
