Redskins on the Web - November 22, 2005
My latest articles can be found on the archives in the right hand column of this page. I should add if any readers wonder why I do this every time I post these links daily, for some odd reason a lot of people come to the site directly to this post. So I extend my own stuff here as well.
Lose to the Chargers? As If - No more doom and gloom here. A look at why the Redskins can win this week.
Portis’ Next Costume - The Vanishing Man - Looking at the disturbing trend of Portis not getting the ball in the 2nd half.
Onto to the daily links:
WP- Fire still Burns for Schottenheimer - A look at the former Redskins coach. Look at the bright side, I don’t think the Rams have a former Redskin coach on their sidelines, so this is the last week of these articles.
WP- Redskins looking for Targets - The Skins need someone besides Moss and Cooley to step up as a receiver.
WP- Brunell’s Numbers drop after loss - Brunell’s numbers get worse after a bad game against the Raiders. Duh. More interesting is that his 4th quarter numbers are worse than the rest of the game, I wonder if the lack of running has anything to do with it?
WT- Portis Says Redskins have to finish 5-1 - Not only does he have sweet outfits, he’s also good with numbers.
WT- Failing to get the Drift of the Draft - A typical whiney, the Redskins can’t draft article. This one is even better because it blames Gibbs drafts. Memo to Dan Daly, the guy’s had two drafts. It might take a bit longer than 2 years to draft enough players to fix all the holes in a 5-11 team. Just saying.
WT- Sellers, Thrash won’t play Sunday - Injuries aren’t fun kids.
