Thanksgiving Day Picks/Site Notes
First of all, some notes on the site. The site will be updated over the American Thanksgiving. So you can get your Redskins football fix here when you get sick of the family or hearing commentators gush over the Dallas Cowboys. So be sure to bookmark us. The update schedule for the next few days is:
Thursday – Another Look at the Turnover Issue – A follow-up to a past column on the Redskins turnover issues, is it still bad luck?
Friday – NFL Picks Week 12
Saturday – This Weeks Victim – San Diego Chargers
Sunday – Game Day & Quick Recap
Onto to my Thanksgiving picks. As always, if you are going to wager, wager responsibly. I take my odds from Betwwts.com. They are safe and secure, and have a good initial deposit bonus that can help cover some early hiccups, and they pay for your 1st bet (up to $20). If you’re new to making wagers, they offer a ton of different ways to fund you account. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments below.
Atlanta at Detroit (+3)
This is your Thursday opener. I find that the lines of games usually follow the trends of the more publicized teams. In this case, Atlanta’s lost 2 straight against teams they probably should have beat, play more of a factor than Detroit being terrible. Unless Kevin Jones finally has a good game, I don’t see this being much of a contest. Mark this down on Thursday’s best bet.
Atlanta 24 Detroit 10
Denver at Dallas (+2)
Redskin fans will be cheering their hearts out for the Broncos in this one. Denver already managed to blow a game against the Giants, so they owe us one. These are two good teams. Both have strong defenses. But the Broncos have the big edge offensively. Add that to the fact that Dallas’ weakness on defense has been stopping the run, I think the Broncos will give Skins’ fans something to do be happy about.
Denver 24 Dallas 20
