Just a few quick points today:

Clemons to IR
Chris Clemons is heading to the IR after it was determined his injury wouldn’t heal for six weeks. Someone will be signed tomorrow to take his spot on the roster. Clemons is a decent little player, but this shouldn’t be a big loss. Perhaps Arrington will get the shot as a down lineman on 3rd downs now.

The various weekly power rankings are slowly coming in:
ESPN: 12 (up 1 slot from 13)
SI: 10 (up 3 from 13)
CBS Sportsline: 11 (up 2 from 13)

Yes Fox is way out of line with everyone else. But they use a statistic breakdown as opposed to opinion, so take it for what it is worth.

WP-It’s Better Late, Than Never - The Redskins late season surge comes down to three things, running, belief and a change of 2nd philosophy. All are true, but I’ll add finally getting some luck in the turnover department.

WP- He’s No Flop, So I’ve Flipped - Kornheiser on Brunell. Have to agree with him, no one wanted this guy around this season, but he’s done a great job.

WP- Arrington is Confident About Where Team Ranks - The team has a chance in the NFC, well Lavar, I agree.
