one thing about Arrington i will not miss is how he would always jump ofsides in key situations. he was also full of bolony and i will not miss him. this is a team game, he was a me, me guy.

The Skins just jettisoned another “me-first” guy. Good riddance.

WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL THOSE SENARIOS WRITTEN IN THE POST AND REDSKINS.COM SHOWING HOW SALARY CAP SPACE COULD BE MADE WHILE KEEPING LAVAR? HE’S FINALLY LEARNING TO BE A TEAM PLAYER AND NOW WE LET HIM GO?

Lorenzo, Arrington didn’t want to restructure his deal to stay with the team. He decided to pay the team money to become a free agent. This was Arrington’s choice.

where is all this animosity coming from? Lavar was/is an excellent player and any team will be happy to have him. After saying that, the skins defensive scheme is well above individual performances and I hope this doesnt effect us negatively. I think Lavar chose free agency to pick up some dough and become the new defensive face of a franchise. it would be nice to see him return home in the next 5 years to have him finish out a great career where it all started… penn state, i mean dc.
