Tenative Deal Reached
The Washington Post is reporting that a tentative deal has been reached in the CBA negotiations. The owners will vote on the deal on tomorrow at a meeting in Dallas.
The owners had orginally agreed to put up the NFLPA’s proposal up to a vote which was why the Monday deadline was extended. This tentative deal is not the orginal NFLPA proposal. The sides continued negotiated last night and reached this agreement. The owners will be voting on this agreement, not the proposal which increases the chances of it being approved. At least 24 of the 32 owners must agree for the deal to be put into place.
