I’ve already discussed my answer before, but to rehash, I picked Brandon Lloyd. I think he’s the more complete receiver and that Randle-El is best suited as a 3rd receiver. Thrash and Patten will be battling for the scraps.
And no, Taylor Jacobs isn’t included as an option. If he’s makes the team this year, I will be amazed.
Lloyd has been penciled in as the number two by most observers that I’ve seen. He also received a lot of press and praise from Brunell and others during OTAs. It wouldn’t surprise me if he gets more receptions than Moss if he works out better as a possession receiver.
I’ve been tracking your poll. No surprise that most think Lloyd get the most passes (after Moss). I’m a little stunned that more people ranked Patten ahead of Randle-El.
