Too Hot to Practice?
I’m not usually one to feel sorry for professional athletes. They get paid a lot of money to play a game and live out a dream. But you had to feel for them today. I think I perspired out a gallon or two of fluids today and my most strenuous activity was walking to and from my car. The Washington Post has a good article up today about the precautions the Redskins take to deal with the heat and the dangers the players face. Its good to see the team (and I’m sure other teams around the NFL) are still taking this seriously. We don’t need another tragedy.
