Clinton Portis suffered a separated shoulder in last night’s preseason opener. There is no timetable on his return, although I can promise you won’t see him again this preseason. On the bright side, its not a season-ender of an injury and giving that it came at the beginning of the preseason, he shouldn’t miss too much time. Knowing Portis’ toughness, I’d be surprised if he isn’t starting week one against Minnesota.
Oh and the Redskins lost 19-3 to Cincinnati. The offense looked like rubbish, but the defense was pretty decent. Deep breaths people, its only the preseason. I don’t care if the Redskins get whipped in all 4 games as long as they are ready to play come week one.
