The Redskins have waived 21 players today to get the roster down to 53. The list is as follows:

Nothing too dramatic here. The only player who contributed last year who was waived was Cedric Killings. A lot of the 2005 late round picks were dropped, although they can be added to the practice squad later this week.

why did they waive espy? he was good from what i saw and heard.

Hey Mufasa, Espy ended up on the practice squad, so that’s good news. He impressed me in the preseason.
