75th Anniversary Throwback Look?

Although there has been no official announcement, it looks as though the Washington Redskins will be wearing a throwback jerseys in at least two games this year to celebrate their 75th year. They will be modeled after the 1972 team that went to the Super Bowl which means the ultra cool Circle R Helmet.
Extremeskins has a photo from the draft day party of the helmets and uniforms (which look pretty similar to the current ones) in the locker room.

Good call Brett, the helmets are from the year Lombardi coached, so I guess 1969. Maybe the jersey’s are from 1972? Have to wait for the official announcement I guess.

Actually, they wore them in 1970 and 1971
