For those dying to get some football on their TV this year, the wait ended today with the Redskins-Ravens scrimmage in Baltimore today (it was shown locally). Everyone gets pumped for this stuff, but its boring as hell. Officially (or I guess unofficially since it doesn’t count for anything), the Redskins lost 10-7 in the 11 on 11 stuff. Jason Campbell didn’t suit up at all during the 11 on 11 work, getting all his snaps during 7 on 7 drills.
The Redskins lone touchdown came on a 24 yard pass by Jordan Palmer to Burl Toler (who?). The leading rusher on the day was Marcus Mason (no idea on this guy either) who had 34 yards on 12 carries. Derrick Blaylock had 20 yards on 6 carries to go with 3 receptions. Mark Brunell was 2 for 5 on the day.
