Its Official: Campbell is OK

Injury Updates:

  • Jason Campbell went through a Sunday morning MRI which showed no structural damage to his knee. Campbell today said the pain was less than he expected, which is good news. Its unknown if Campbell will suit up for next week’s game or who would start if he doesn’t play.
  • Marcus Washington is a bit more serious. He dislocated the elbow, but things look fairly good. He may end up wearing a brace on the elbow this season, but is hoping to be back for the season opener.
  • TRR favourite, Mike Espy is out for the year. He suffered a torn patellar tendon. He was the favorite to win the number 5 WR slot and his injury opens the door for Todd Pinkston and/or Corey Bradford to make the roster.
  • Todd Wade is expected back at practice on Monday and will slide back into the number 1 slot at left guard.

Um.. Someone better let this Heyer guy know that letting a rookie end around you to take out the quarterback isn’t a good thing in the NFL… even if you are “developing nicely”.
