Bad News on the Injury Front

The Redskins have downgraded two of last week’s defensive starters on the injury report.
- Fred Smoot has been moved from probable to questionable after tweaking a hamstring in practice this week.
- Phillip Daniels has been listed as doubtful with a foot injury
Not good. If Smoot can’t go, Shawn Springs will start and David Macklin will move into the nickleback role. Expect Demetric Evans to replace Daniels as the starting defensive end.
