New Site Features

I’ve added a few things to the new look of the site over the past week, and thought I’d run them down in case you haven’t noticed.

Over the right side of the page is the latest Washington Redskins news stories from Google News. This was up on top on the old design, but this new feature adds little blurbs from each article.
I’ve added a new Email feed, which means that every time the site is updated the new article is emailed directly to you. Both this feed and the normal feed are sent through Feedburner, which is a Google company, so your info is safe. The regular feed is still available which lets you add the site to your homepage if you use Yahoo, Google, MSN or a variety of others. In addition, you have use a feed reader to have updates sent directly to you, this service is used by a couple hundred readers each day.
There are some new social site links at the bottom of each post. You can directly submit each article to Stumble Upon, Yardbarker or Ballhype if you use those sites and care to share articles.
Another way to access site updates is through our new Facebook page. If you use Facebook, you can become a ‘fan’ of the page and new updates should hit your personal news feed, I believe.
The Washington Redskins store has its own page now as it didn’t fit on the new template. So if you are looking for Gifts for the Washington Redskins fan in your life, that’s your place.
