Redskins will Miss More Starters than Dallas
All week the talk has been about who the Dallas Cowboys will be missing for the season finale against the Redskins, but in reality its just evening the playing field. While the Dallas line-up is still a mystery, let’s all keep in the mind that the Redskins will be missing the following players who would likely be starting if they were available to play:
- Sean Taylor
- Jason Campbell
- Jon Jansen
- Randy Thomas
- Rocky McIntosh
- Carlos Rogers
On the other hand, Dallas has one starter who is definitely out - Jason Ferguson, and might rest some guys to prepare for the playoffs. So if the Redskins win, and the media starts to discount the victory, keep in mind which team was really missing more players.

I’m a huge skins fan and I wanted to relay this to some donkey Dallas fans but before I sent it I thought about this a little more. Off the top of my head I’m pretty sure TO is out with an injury, Terry Glenn is a starter that has been out most if not all of the season with an injury, Romo would normally play this game but is nursing his thumb- I don’t know. Just seemed to me that this isn’t as clear cut as you might think- both teams are banged up. Either way- I can’t wait for the game and I hope the Skins can win this and a couple playoff games to shut up the media. Hail To!

Skins Fan - you are right that in all likelyhood the Redskins and the Cowboys will be missing close to the same amount guys come the 2nd half of this weeks game. The point I was trying to make is that the Redskins have been playing the past month missing a load of players and it shows what a good job the coaches and players have done to make this playoff push.

I agree. It’s not like all of a sudden these guys are injured. If they were all playing the who season things would have been very different…
