It's got "The Evil Empire" in the background (and center stage at least once), it's got pathos (Shawn Springs' situation), it's got tradgedy (Sean Taylor's loss), adversity, "comebacks", personal redemption (Gibb's 12th Viking of Christmas call, after the Buffalo Bombing), heart warming determination (Clinton Portis's and Santana Moss's determination to win for Sean), hubris (the Redskins in the days before the first Giants game), injury, defeat, victory, triumph. It's even got "Space Cowboyisms" in the archaic throwback of Todd Collins. They wouldn't have to even have much game footage to make it a good story; it just needs a Cinderella or near Cinderella ending. They don't even have to win it all this year; they can end it with "The Redskins went on to win it all the following year", and it still works.
