Schwartz 1st to Interview
Yes, I’m way late to the party, but its been a busy week.
Tennessee Titan defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz was the 1st candidate to be interviewed for the vacant Washington Redskins head coaching position. Schwartz is one of this year’s hot shot coordinators who is interviewing for a bunch of open slots (Atlanta and Miami are expected to have him in as well). Most interesting about Schwartz is the fact that he is considered a disciple of Gregg Williams, the assumed front runner for the position. Schwartz is considered to be one of the most statistical oriented coaches in the league and the Titans defense excelled this year despite playing without their best cornerback, Pac Man Jones, due to suspension.
There has been rumors of other candidates who may have already come in to discuss the position with Snyder, but as of now Schwartz is the only confirmed interview.
Here is an interview with Schwartz that gives a bit of insight into this strategies, etc.

Apparently our offense sucks, Green Bay is just moving up and down the field at will against Seattle.
