Fancying Up The Redskins’ Uniform
Brand spanking new Redskins blog The Internet is for Zorn is feeling the pains of starting in his blog during the most boring off-season in the recent history of the Redskins and has decided that the team’s uniforms need a bit of a shake up. His suggestion - use the ‘Redskins’ font to jazz up the numbers and names on the jerseys.
Can’t say I’m a huge fan of his new design. The numbers look too Bronco-ish and I don’t think we could fit a name longer than 8 letters on the uniform (it would ruin my dreams of the comeback of Chris Fuamatu-Ma’afala on the Redskins). But an interesting topic none the less, do the Redskins’ uniforms need a modernizing?
Either way, welcome to the new guy (or gal I guess) in our ever growing Redskin blogger world. The site has been added to our Washington Redskins Links page.

Hey, thanks for the link! I don’t adore the numbers either (and, as noted in the link, I can’t Photoshop to save my life), but I kinda like the way the name looks.

I think the Redskins’ BEST uniform was the spear and feather look from the 60s, with maroon, instead of burgundy, and GOLD, instead of yellow.
They wore it during a commemorative, throw-back thing a few years ago. I wish they’d have brought those back permanently. So what if it looks like FSU. Washington’s looks better.
