Ok, I know it’s a lousy pun, but Rock Cartwright has resigned with the Redskins. While he didn’t get his $2Million Guaranteed, he did get a 3 year, $3Million contract with a $300,000 signing bonus. That’s a contract that pays Rock well enough to keep him happy, and keeps a quality Special Teams player on the team.
I never thought to say this, but with the signings of Rock, Shaun, and Todd, I have to. “Good job, Vinnie.”
Well don’t I look smart now.
I’m glad to see him back, he’s a very good special teamer and a leader in the locker room. I know he wanted more money, but I’m not going to feel sorry for a guy making a $1 million/year.
