Washington Redskins Select S Kareem Moore at #180

Another small school guy, this time at safety. Moore will have a decent shot of sticking on the roster as the Redskins will likely lose Pierson Prioleau and currently only have Vernon Fox as depth at the position.

Has a solid frame and good bulk…A reliable tackler…Can deliver the big hit…Smart with nice instincts and awareness…Plays faster than he times…Decent hands and ball skills..Real tough and physical..Hard worker and leader with good intangibles.Weaknesses:
A little shorter than you’d prefer…Timed speed is well below average…Is not very quick or explosive and lacks a burst to close….Is not real smooth or fluid…Did not always play against top competition….May struggle to match up in man coverage.Notes:
Began his college career at Ole Miss…Played at Itawamba Community College and was a JUCO All-American in 2005…May not have all the physical tools you look for but is just a good football player…Can compete for a NFL roster spot as a backup
