Andre Carter defends his number, Jason Taylor to wear #55

Jason Taylor has decided to wear #55 instead of his usual #99 this year for the Redskins. He mentioned they was a brief negotiation but in the end he decided to leave #99 in Miami. Probably a good choice.
I suspect the negotiation were brief once Taylor saw that Carter is basically a big ball of muscles. Then again I read a story about Taylor getting into a fight with a dog when he was 5 years old and Taylor defeated the dog by biting it (which I easily extrapolate to mean that 5 year old Jason Taylor was tougher than Batman considering all the troubles Batman has with dogs in The Dark Knight), so perhaps it would have been more of a battle than I suspect.

The Jersey question is interesting…. given what the ‘Skins have been through, and that many on the team are dedicating the season to Sean Taylor, would that mean that the Redskins will ask Jason Taylor to wear J. Taylor on his uniform?
