    All the quarterbacks had good games statistically. Brennan just seemed to have some energy, enthusiasm, about him that Campbell and Collins did not show. I hope he has that game awareness – an ability to know what to do and be able to do it, during a game.

    Jackson, the DE, had a decent game – for someone I had heard nothing about. I do not know how good the tackles are that he faced, however, or how well he played against their run.

    Horton, db, always seemed to be around the ball. Like Brennan, seemed to have game sense.

    It is hard to gauge our defense, as so many first stringers, especially the linemen, did not play.

    The rookie player that impressed me the most was Rinehart, the guard. I do not think he got beat. Several times on running plays he pushed the tackle back towards the linebackers. He seemed to be back in that area as much as the running backs.
