This week’s game just got a bit more interesting to watch. Sherman Smith yesterday announced that Clinton Portis would make his pre-season debut tomorrow night against the Buffalo Bills. Portis isn’t going to play much and it will be interesting to watch his effort level (he didn’t seem excited to hear he was playing to say the least) but he will be out there.
Jason Taylor is also set to make his Redskins debut tomorrow. He will face a familiar opponent in Buffalo, although with his shifting sides of the defensive line and the Jason Peters holdout he likely won’t be seeing too many faces he’ll recognize. London Fletcher is also expected to make his 1st appearance of the pre-season Saturday.
As for guys not suiting up - Rock Cartwright might be held out with a rib injury, LaRon Landry is likely out again, the two rookie WRs (Thomas and Kelly) are still out, Rocky McIntosh and Carlos Rogers are also unlikely to play. The Redskins may also adjust their QB rotation to give Colt Brennan some experience in different situations before he spends the season toting a clipboard.
