Durrant was getting the verbal abuse because he tried to call for the snap of the ball on the long FG attempt (51 yarder that Suisham missed) before the ref even gave Albright the ball for the play. It really didn't cause the miss, I think it was more because he wasn't in the game mentally that he got reamed.

PS - What was Zorn giving Durrant a lashing about? I saw him mouth "We can't have that, there is no tomorrow, you have to get it right!" (i have to read lips some). Durrant was looking like a 6 year old being scolded by his dad!

When you look at yesterday's game there were so many things that the Redskins got right that you wonder, wow, these guys can play ball! While still not a JC fan, he played admirably and hopefully getting some confidence in his decisions and playmaking ability.

One of the best things about yesterday, is what they got wrong and have the chance to fix. It wasn't a whole lot but enough that could have put the game away early in the second half. That is what we have to do with Dallas. M Kelly needs to continue to step up. JC was almost shocked to see him go down field rather than come back on that play. Stephon Heyer messed it up with the unecessary roughness, but that was a bs call. I don't think Darnell Dockett will be roughing Clinton Portis anymore if Heyer has something to say about it. Sorry Fox, that pop (during regulation play) was HILARIOUS. Something the hogs used to do and never thought twice. Somebody standing up put them on the ground.

Just as a side note. The Skins stepped up last year w/o Sean Taylor. His Ghost needs to re-appear for the Dallas game. We sorely miss his jaw popping hits, Landry isn't quite it. Thats the only way TO is going to be stopped, hearing those footsteps of Sean getting ready to dislocate his head from his body.
