Lorenzo Alexander: Team Player

You have to love Lorenzo Alexander. Alexander, a defensive tackle, who surprised many by even making the team, is now practicing at offensive guard to help cover all the offensive line injuries. He serves as the team’s emergency offensive lineman. While it is doubtful he’d be needed to suit up on the offensive line at any time, he may be used to replace Mike Pucillo at tight end in the jumbo package if Pucillo is forced to play center due to Casey Rabach’s injury.

Alexander is best known by Redskin fans for this completely insane helmetless play in the pre-season (video includes hilarious commentary from a typical concerned mother):

Yes, I said Mike Espy highlight reel. More proof you can find anything on YouTube. He’s got some serious moves and represents really the only darkhorse candidate on offense who might actually earn a role with the team. This is mainly from high school and college, but there is a few Redskins clips in the video.
